High School Hosted Blood Drive
On February 17, 2012 North Mac Key Club hosted a blood drive. Several of the Key Club members volunteered their time. The volunteers recruited students and members of the community to donate blood and entered their information into the computer and assign times for donations. The volunteers helped set up the gymnasium for the blood drive. Several of the Key Club volunteers served refreshments to blood donors, while others talked to blood donors while they donated blood to make them feel at ease. All of the Key Club members that volunteered their time that day also donated blood or attempted to donate blood. At the end of the day, the volunteers helped pack up all of the blood drive equipment.
There were 137 attempted donations and 120 units were collected.
Great job!
