Senator Andy Manar attended the North Mac Board of Education Town Hall Meeting for approximately an hour on Monday, February 1, 2016 to discuss his education funding reform bill and answer questions regarding the Capital Development Bond (School Construction) Program. The 2016-17 School Calendar was approved by the Board of Education at its April 27, 2016 meeting. The calendar is posted under the School Calendar button on the right-hand side of the screen. Registration days are August 2 (12 - 8 p.m.) and August 3 (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) for returning students and August 4 for students new to the District. More information regarding pre-Registration will be sent or mailed home in the next few weeks.
The North Mac School Board approved the amended school calendar at its March meeting. The District used one emergency weather day in February 2016. The last day of student attendance is now Friday, May 20, 2016 with a 1:20/1:30 early dismissal. The last day for teachers is now Monday, May 23, 2016. Please see the calendar at the link below.
