Hi! My name is Amy Crowdson. This is my 29th school year teaching special education. I have spent 25 of those years teaching in the town of Virden.  Prior to teaching in Virden, I taught students in Washington, Illinois, and Memphis, Tennessee.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education in 1993 from  Illinois State University.  I completed work on my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership in 2009 at the University of Illinois-Springfield. I live in Springfield with my husband and two children. I have one dog and two cats. In my free time, I enjoy running, spending time with my family, and volunteering at a local animal shelter.
