OK, so in case you haven't figured it out, that's not REALLY me in the photo....BUT, you are on Mr. Burton's School Webpage!!
A little about me....I started school a little "later" in life and received my Bachelor's of Business Administration at Robert Morris University in 2006. After I received my degree, I started substitute teaching and fell in love with it and decided to return to school. I earned my Masters of Arts in Education from Benedictine University in 2009.
I have taught computers, web design, and Accounting as well as 5th Grade and 8th Grade......so, I've definitely got lots of stories to share and with all different age groups!!
I am married to my WONDERFUL(she made me say that) wife, Sally and we live in Virden. I have 5 kids - Hannah(24), Noah (22), Elijah (19), Zoe (16), and Taylor(13). In my spare time (which I don't have much of!) I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching sports, attending concerts, and golf!
Fun Fact: I have also owned and operated my own DJ business for the last 33 Years!! (time to slow down)!
I am SO thrilled and excited to be back here at North Mac. We are going to have a wonderful year and I can't wait to help your child reach their best potential!! It's going to be AWESOME!!
