Mrs. Strader
I live in Auburn with my husband, son, and two Cavapoos. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2007 from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading in May of 2013. This will be my seventeenth year teaching, and they have all been in Virden. In addition to pre-k, I have taught first grade.
Mrs. Rigney
Mrs. Rigney is one of our long-term substitute paraprofessionals this year! She retired from our pre-k program in 2022, and we are so happy to have her back for the time we get her! She is from Girard, has 4 children of her own, and is a grandma and great-grandma!
Mrs. Adams
Mrs. Adams is our other long-term substitute paraprofessional this year. She has worked with children for years, mainly in gymnastics. She has children and grandchildren of her own, which gives her plenty of practice for our pre-k classroom! We are grateful to have her with us this year, and she does a wonderful job with the students!
