North Mac K-12 approved for Community Eligibility Program

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that North Mac CUSD will again be participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs and this year our entire district will be part of this program.  This means that high school students will also be participating in the program.  As a result, all high school students who eat breakfast and/or lunch will not be charged.

What does this mean for me and my children? All students enrolled in a CEP school/district are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2017-2018 school year. No further action is required. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application.

What do you have to do?

  • You do not need to do anything!

  • You do not have to pay any money or fill out any forms.

  • You do not need to send your child to school early for breakfast.Breakfast will be served at the normal times.

It is important to note that North Mac High School students will still have the option to purchase a la carte items and the price for those items will remain $.75.

A special thanks to Amy Teubner for her hard work on this project and helping our district qualify for this program.

If you have any questions, please contact Amy at the North Mac District Office, either by email at ateubner@northmacschools.org or by phone at 217-627-2915.

Thank you,

Dr. Jay A. Goble
Superintendent
