Elementary/Intermediate/Middle School Student Supplies for Starting School Year

For the period of time we are in school from August 20 – September 4, students will only need a number of supplies.   As supplies cannot be shared during the pandemic, supplies can be kept in their book bag.  The students will need a few pencils, a dry erase marker, crayons,  glue stick, spiral notebook, folder, and a pair of scissors.  Scissors will stay at their desks and not travel back and forth in book bags for safety reasons.

When we return to in-person instruction, full supplies will be necessary.  With supplies cheaper, and in abundance at this time of year, you may wish to purchase them now, especially if you want them for setting up your child’s instructional space at home.  Otherwise, you can purchase supplies when we return to in-person instruction.  If you have any questions, please contact the building Principal.

********It's Our Time to Count!  Respond to the 2020  Census today!                                                                                                             #ShapeOurFuture, Rural America Respond Now to the #2020Census!   Once you have responded, please encourage your family, friends and loved ones to complete the census too.  You can respond online, through the mail, or by phone (844) 330-2020.  Census responses provide data that can attract new businesses and the jobs that come with them. The data also informs where over $675 billion in federal funding is spent each year in states and communities. That includes money for things like:

• Medicare Part B

• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

• Water and waste disposal systems for rural communities

• Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant

• Cooperative Extension Service

• Emergency management/disaster relief

• Rural home rental assistance

• Rural education

• Rural business enterprise grants

• Rural housing preservation grants

• State wildlife grants

• Hunter education and safety

On August 11th, 2020, the Census will begin its Non-Response Follow-up (NRFU) operation where Census enumerators will go door-to-door to collect a response from every household that has not already responded to the 2020 Census.  Our goal is to increase self-response rates in rural areas before the start of NRFU.  By self-responding to the Census, respondents can stop the knock

Remember to complete your CENSUS!  It is vital that you complete your 2020 Census to help meet critical needs in our area!  Everyone counts!!  If you have not completed your mailed questionnaire, please respond online at my2020census.gov.  Thanks, everyone!

Work hard, be nice, and do great things!  It takes EVERYONE, EVERY DAY!
