Annual Foundation Dinner March 7, 2020.
The dinner will be located at the Virden KC Hall. Tickets can be purchased at Country Financial, Sly Fox Bookstore, or from any board member.
Glo Bingo will be November 23, 2019 at Virden KC. Tickets available through Country Financial on north side of Virden Square or from Board Members.
The Foundation is currently soliciting donations in any amount from individuals in the Girard, Virden, Thayer, Nilwood, Lowder, and Sunset Lake communities. To donate to the Foundation, make your check payable to the North Mac Public Schools Foundation or "NMPSF." Mail it to NMPSF, P.O. Box 117, Virden, IL 62690 or give it to any member of the Foundation Board of Directors.
Please print out a copy of the Donor Information Form and return it with your donation.
The NMPSF welcomes Memorial Donations also.
The students of the North Mac School District appreciate your generosity.
Classroom Resource Grants
Teachers may fill out grant application forms beginning January. The deadline is May 1, 2020. Please refer to the following links.
The North Mac Public Schools Foundation held its organizational meeting on November 9, 2009. It incorporated as an Illinois not-for-profit corporation on November 24, 2009. It has further registered with the Illinois Attorney General as a charitable organization and applied to the IRS for recognition as a tax exempt/tax deductible 501(c)(3) organization. The Illinois Department of Revenue has granted the Foundation an exemption from paying sales taxes on its purchases. 2011 Tax Form 990
The purpose of the Foundation as a charitable and educational organization is to raise funds and accept donations, gifts, and bequests to support the North Mac School District, its students, teachers, programs, and activities. This support will generally include: scholarships for graduates; classroom grants for materials, supplies, and textbooks; media center grants; continuing education grants for teachers; grants for classroom equipment; and other types of assistance.

Contributions to the Foundation will help the district enhance its current educational program and provide scholarships for graduating seniors.
